The recent slaughter of innocent school children is undoubtedly a horrible tragedy that will affect the many survivors for a lifetime. I commend the media in the constant coverage of this atrocity and in the call for something to be done to prevent future carnage of innocents. I am 100 % in favor of protecting innocent children. I am not one to often commend what I consider to be a biased media, but applaud the concern in this issue.

One main concern raised is that it’s much too easy for anyone who is determined to commit such a heinous crime to be able to carry it out. The freedom of obtaining weapons of destruction, and their easy availability is being addressed. When innocent children can be slaughtered so readily and those children can be afforded no protection, then a cry should arise from all, liberal, conservative or of any label or philosophy. And I will lead the charge to not only limit access to firearms and ammunition to all, even calling for a total ban of firearms if needed.

WADE WITH THE SAME FERVOR, EMOTION AND PLANNING AS THEIR DEMAND FOR THE CONTROL AND BANNING OF GUNS AND WHEN ABORTION IS RECOGNIZED FOR WHAT IT IS, ILLEGAL MURDER, WITH THE MURDERERS PROSECUTED, AND EVERY ABORTION MILL IN THIS NATION CLOSED, THEN AND ONLY THEN SHOULD THEY DARE TO MENTION GUN CONTROL. EVEN THEN, GUN CONTROL IS A DEAD ISSUE, IF THE SECOND AMENDMENT MEANS ANYTHING. UNTIL THEN, THE KILLING OF A FEW CHILDREN WITH GUNS AT THE HANDS OF PSYCHOS (THOUGH A TRAGEDY) WHEN COMPARED WITH THE SLAUGHTER OF MILLIONS THROUGH “LEGAL” ABORTION, IS NOT REALLY A CRISIS ISSUE.

REMEMBER, OVER 80 MILLION GUN OWNERS KILLED NO ONE YESTERDAY!
